Swimming
The West Cumbria Learning Centre supported two Year 6 pupils in the academic year 2023-2024.
During their time with the Centre, these pupils developed their swimming skills and were able to swim competently, confidently, and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, using a range of strokes effectively.
The pupils continued on their learning journey as they returned to mainstream school, focusing on developing the skills to perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.
